Expiring Content can be used avoid having time/date sensitive content playback in the case of an offline player.


Content can be set to expire by adding a playback "Rule" to the content file. For the purpose of have a content file expire a "Date Range" playback constraint can be added to content file.  For more information about how to add content "Rules", see Content Playback Rules .


NOTE: Content expiry should not be used in place of proper content management. Content that is no longer valid should be removed from the program, playlist, dynamic track or campaign. 


When viewing content in the content library, expired content will be shown with a red background and will have the "[Expired]" label beside the file name.
