Dashboard
The OnSite dashboard shows the messages that are currently published as well as features related to the sites and approvals on your network,
Scheduled Area
The main purpose of the dashboard is to show the scheduled messages and media. These scheduled messages can be changed by clicking the edit button which will redirect though the schedule tab. Also a print schedule button exists where the user can export the schedule as a pdf. This main area encompasses most of the dashboard.Message Information
Details such as expiration, location of where the message displays, and the duration all appear on a message. To see the status of a message click on it to see approval status from the details within.
Filter Options
These scheduled messages and media can be filtered three different ways, by site/ site group assigned, by zone(s) assigned, and by specific dates.
To filter by the site selector click the purple box and then select the desired place to view from. If a message/ media is scheduled to a site group, you will see it under the sites within that group. If you don't have access to the site group where the message/ media is scheduled you cannot change it, on a specific site you do have access to.
To filter by the zone selector click one of the grey boxes available. These grey boxes refers to the zones used in messages (aspect ratio of the messages). Messages can be assigned to more than one zone. Media isn't assigned to zones, so any media content scheduled will always show when this option is changed.
To filter by playback date, click the calendar icon to set a specific date, or click the "Today" button to set the date to the current day. By default the Dashboard displays the messages/ media scheduled for today.

Dashboard Stats
On the dashboard is also the site status's area, the screen capture area, and the recent approvals area. The site status displays the current active status of the sites and players connected. The screen capture section allows the user to see what is on the screen of a connected player, this can be used to check if messages/ media are displaying properly. The approvals area shows the recent messages that have been approved or denied, this area will only be available if approvals are turned on for a network. These areas can be dragged and dropped to reorganize the order that they appear for a specific user. These areas encompass only a small part of the dashboard.
Schedule
The schedule tab is used to plan and publish content, drag and drop messages to publish them. The order of messages determines the order of which the messages play and accounts for any playback constraints as set on the message. The messages will always play back in the order that they are listed in the schedule, with the exception of playback constraints.
Each zone has its own schedule for messages. If you would like to have messages in more than one zone, a schedule will be required for each of those zones.
There are many playback constraints (scheduling). The rules can be used individually or combined to make more complex rules.
Playback can use the following constraints:
- A day of the week (Example: Monday, Tuesday, etc)
- A specific date range (Example: April 1st to May 1st)
- A specific time of the day (Example: 9:00am to 5:00pm)
For example, the following rules could be combined:
- Day of the week: Monday
- Specific Date Range: April 1st to May 1st
- Time of Day: 12:00pm to 5:00pm
This schedule will only play on Mondays, through the month of April, during the time between 12:00pm and 5:00pm. Click on the gear icon at the bottom right of a message to set the constraints.
Filtering Messages
A schedule filter can be used to see what message will be playing based on the constraints applied to the messages or media. Click the box under the site selector to apply the options.
By default, all items in a schedule are displayed. The filter options are:
- All: The default view that displays all items regardless of the constraints.
- Today: sets the "Show : Date" option to the present day.
- Show: Day(s): Enables the selection of one or more days, and only the messages or media eligible to play on the selected days of the week will be displayed.
